We are meeting in the park for a special reason. Everyone knows you should not throw papers and cans
on the ground, because it makes a mess for people, right? (voices agree) Yeah, right, okay, but,
but, but ... what about pigeons? (voices agree) Yeah, nobody thinks about them, man's best friend!
(voices agree) You know, it makes a mess for them, too! (voices quietly agree) Yeah, and they live
on the ground! (voices loudly agree) So, maestro ... (music starts)

A boy in the park with a paper
From a sandwich on which he had fed
Was about to drop it on the sidewalk
When a pigeon looked up and it said
"Please, keep the park clean for the pigeons.

Bert: Right, because pigeons hate a mess!

Chewing gum sticks to their feet
